Easy Handmade Hello Card using Cutest Crew Stamp Set

This beginner-friendly all-occasion card uses the Cutest Crew Stamp Set, a soft spring-inspired color combo, and Stampin’ Blends for easy coloring. It’s a simple layout that comes together quickly and is perfect for building confidence.

Supplies Needed
  

  • Very Vanilla Cardstock: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" scored at 4-1/4"
  • Granny Apple Green Cardstock: 2-1/4" x 3-3/4"
  • Lemon Lolly Cardstock: 1-3/4" x 3-1/4"
  • Basic White Cardstock: 1-1/4" x 2-3/4"

Instructions
 

  • Note: this card originally featured the Textured Notes Dies which retired before this was posted to the Blog. I've re-written the instructions to remove using those Dies.
  • Fold the Very Vanilla cardstock in half at the score line to create your card base.
  • Stamp the bird tracks randomly on the outside of the card using Granny Apple Green ink. If desired, also stamp in the bottom right corner of the inside of the card.
  • Adhere the Granny Apple Green cardstock in the center of the card front.
  • Stamp the sentiment at the top of the Lemon Lolly cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Adhere to the Granny Apple Green cardstock as shown in the sample.
  • Stamp the 3 birds onto the center of the Basic White cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Color in the top of the birds using the Dark Lemon Lolly Stampin' Blend.
  • Color in the bottom of the birds using the Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends to create an "ombre" effect.
  • Color in the grass below the birds using the Light Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blend.
  • Adhere the White cardstock to the front of the card as shown in the sample to finish.
