This is the exact card we made during this week’s Coffee & a Card—our casual midweek craft break on Facebook where we chat, sip on our favorite beverage, and make something wonderful. And this card? It checks all the boxes: gorgeous color blending, easy marker-to-stamp technique, and that Full of Life Designer Paper background that practically does the work for you.

For this project, I featured the With You In Mind Stamp Set by Stampin’ Up!® paired with the rich hues of Berry Burst, Blueberry Bushel, and Fresh Freesia. The background paper from the Full of Life Designer Series Paper gives you that watercolor wash look without any mess. Then, instead of using a single ink pad, I pulled out my Stampin’ Write Markers and colored directly onto the stamps for a blended, multi-toned effect. It’s a little trick that adds instant dimension and makes your stamped images pop—perfect for beginner and seasoned stampers alike.

One of the things I love most about Coffee & a Card projects is how approachable they are. You don’t need a huge collection of supplies to create a card that looks like it took hours. Here, you’ve got a few markers, a bold sentiment, some playful florals, and a stunning paper background. That’s it! And yet, the finished card feels layered, polished, and full of personality.
