Coffee and a Card with the Spooky Halloween Bundle is a fun little reminder that Halloween doesn’t have to be scary—it can be downright adorable! This handmade card is all about clean layers, playful shapes, and just the right touch of spook (without the fright). If you’ve got 30 minutes, a cup of coffee, and your favorite Halloween bundle, you can absolutely recreate this charming little handmade card.
I started with a Basic Black card base and added a piece of Beautiful Gallery Designer Series Paper for the night sky. The Lemon Lolly moon makes the sentiment pop and gives those die-cut bats the perfect place to perch. The lower panel is a smooth blend of Gray Granite and Basic Gray, giving just enough depth to the spooky-fun fence scene without feeling heavy. The real star? That darling little cat in costume—colored in with Stampin’ Blends and ready to cast a spell (or steal a candy or two).
This is the exact card we made during this week’s Coffee & a Card—our casual midweek craft break on Facebook where we chat, sip on our favorite beverage, and make something wonderful. And this card? It checks all the boxes: quick layout, easy layering, simple coloring, and just enough Halloween magic to make someone smile.
