Coffee and a Card with the Beach Boardwalk Paper & Sticker Sheet is the kind of project that makes cardmaking feel fun and easy again. This beginner-friendly card uses only patterned paper, stickers, and ribbon. No stamping at all. The Beach Boardwalk Paper does all the work with playful summer designs, while the coordinating stickers make finishing the card fast and stress-free.

Inside the card, the Beach Boardwalk Puffy Stickers add a playful surprise. That small detail turns the inside of the card into something that feels intentional, not forgotten. Puffy stickers are perfect for this because they add dimension without extra adhesive or tools. They’re especially great for new cardmakers who want their projects to look polished without extra steps.

This is the exact card we made during this week’s Coffee & a Card—our casual midweek craft break on Facebook where we chat, sip on our favorite beverage, and make something wonderful. And this card? It checks all the boxes: no stamping involved, perfect for beginners, fast to assemble, and a great reminder that you don’t need a craft room full of supplies to make a card that feels special.

One of the reasons this project works so well is the Beach Boardwalk Paper & Sticker Sheet. The patterned paper does all the heavy lifting. With playful beach scenes, soft textures, and happy colors, you can cut, layer, and go. The coordinating sticker sheet makes embellishing effortless, which is a huge win if you’ve ever stared at a finished card and thought, “Now what do I add?” With stickers, the answer is simple. Peel. Stick. Smile.

The color combination on this card keeps everything feeling light and cheerful without being loud. Strawberry Slush and Pretty in Pink create a warm, summery base, while Basic White gives your eye a place to rest. It’s the kind of color combo that feels happy right away and works beautifully for all-occasion cards. You could easily send this for a birthday, a thinking-of-you note, or just because someone could use a little sunshine in their mailbox.

Another detail I love is the Strawberry Slush ribbon. It adds just enough texture without complicating the design. Ribbon can feel intimidating, but here it’s simple and forgiving. No fancy bows required. A clean strip tied through the center gives the card a finished look while still keeping it beginner friendly and quick to assemble.

This is the kind of card you can make even when life feels busy or your creativity feels a little tired. You don’t have to remember techniques or worry about perfection. You just sit down, follow a few simple steps, and end up with something you’re proud to send.

And that’s where the real magic happens. Making a card like this isn’t just about paper and stickers. It’s about the moment when you write a note inside, seal the envelope, and know you’re about to brighten someone’s day. Handmade cards have a way of saying, “I thought of you,” in a way store-bought cards never quite do.

The Delicate Framing Dies really shine in this palette. Those intricate scrolls and floral details look amazing in Petal Pink cardstock, especially when paired with the floral Designer Paper. It feels vintage but still modern—like something you’d find in a cherished card box tucked away for safekeeping.
