This Coffee and A Card project with Impressions Abloom products by Stampin’ Up!® was so fun to create! This handmade thank-you card is the perfect project for that sweet spot between simple and stunning. Whether you’re new to stamping or have a craft room full of supplies, this card gives you the freedom to create something joyful without overthinking it.

Coffee and A Card Project with Impressions Abloom featuring blue and peach flowers with a blue gingham background and a "thanks" sentiment stamped in orange.

This is the exact card we made during this week’s Coffee & a Card—our casual midweek craft break on Facebook where we chat, sip on our favorite beverage, and make something wonderful. And this card? It checks all the boxes: it’s beginner-friendly, features bright happy blooms from the Impressions Abloom Stamp Set, and uses that adorable Two-Step stamping technique that brings your flowers to life with just two ink pads!

Let’s talk about what makes this card extra special. First off, the focal point is a die-cut oval featuring a mix of large and small stamped florals in Peach Pie and Pool Party, with Lemon Lolly centers that absolutely pop. The floral arrangement is stamped on Basic White cardstock using the Two-Step stamping technique. It’s amazing how layering color adds depth—especially with those petals looking like they were painted on.

The background is a soft blue gingham pattern from the Floral and Gingham Vellum which gives this card a classic, picnic-in-the-park vibe. The card base itself is Peach Pie, which ties the whole look together beautifully. And let’s not forget the finishing touch: Peach Pie ribbon bow that brings a little texture and charm to the design.

This kind of card is one of my favorites because it’s so versatile. You could swap out the sentiment for “Happy Birthday” or “Thinking of You” and it would still feel just right. And thanks to the Two-Step stamping and coordinating dies, it’s a project that comes together quickly—even if you’re working between coffee sips and a busy schedule.

A Tip from Barb

I’ve only categorized this as a Worker Bee card because of the need for a Cut & Emboss Machine to die-cut the oval from the Impressions Abloom Bundle.

If you don’t have either, you can simply cut a 3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ Basic White rectangle and your card will still be beautiful!
