If you’re new to coloring or feeling unsure about Stampin’ Blends, this is a great place to start. The images are small, open, and forgiving. You don’t need advanced techniques or perfect blends to get a result that feels finished and polished.
Using a simple two-color combination keeps the process stress-free. The Bronze and Ivory Stampin’ Blends work together to create soft highlights and gentle shadows, giving the bunnies a subtle 3D look without feeling complicated. It’s a confidence-building way to practice blending.

This card leans into clean design and soft contrast. The warm brown tones from the Stampin’ Blends stand out beautifully against the crisp white background, while the light Coastal Cabana accents add a fresh spring touch. The minimal layout lets the coloring shine and keeps the focus right where it belongs.
Once finished, this card feels calm and complete. You’ve practiced blending, created something seasonal, and kept the process relaxed from start to finish. It’s the kind of project that makes you want to color another image right away.
How To Make This Card
You’ll find the full supply list and step-by-step instructions below.

Beginner Easter Card using the Easter Basket Stamp Set
Supplies Needed
- Coastal Cabana Cardstock: 5-1/2" x 8-1/2 (scored at 4-1/4")
- Basic White Cardstock: 4" x 5-1/4" (for inside card)
- Basic White Cardstock: 4" x 5-1/2" (for card front)
Instructions
- Fold the Coastal Cabana cardstock in half at the 4-1/4" score line to create your card base.
- Adhere the 4" x 5-1/4" Basic White cardstock inside the card base.
- Using the 4" x 5-1/2" Basic White cardstock, stamp the bunny in the top center of the cardstock (about 2" down from the top) using Tuxedo Black Memento ink. Stamp another bunny to the right of this image, then another bunny to the left of this image.
- Color in all 3 bunnies using the Bronze Stampin' Blend. Use the Ivory Blend to lightly add a line under each bunny – this will help ground them to the cardstock.
- Stamp the "Happy Easter" (or sentiment of your choice) below the bunnies using Coastal Cabana ink.
- Adhere the White cardstock to the front of the Coastal Cabana card base to finish.
