Sometimes the most beautiful cards are also the simplest to make. In today’s Coffee and a Card with the Paradise Garden Stamp Set, we created a soft floral thank you card that’s calm, cheerful, and incredibly easy to put together. If you’ve ever wanted a card that looks polished without a lot of complicated steps, this one is a perfect example.

This is the exact card we made during this week’s Coffee & a Card—our casual midweek craft break on Facebook where we chat, sip on our favorite beverage, and make something wonderful. And this card? It checks all the boxes: simple stamping, soft colors, layered designer paper, and a layout that makes the flowers the star of the show.

Let’s Talk About Color

The color combination for this card is soft, warm, and uplifting. Petal Pink gives the flowers a gentle, delicate look while Calypso Coral brings in a little brightness and energy. Old Olive adds a natural touch that grounds the design and makes the flowers feel fresh and botanical.

Together, these colors create a palette that feels both cheerful and calming. It’s the kind of color combination that works beautifully for thank you cards, friendship cards, or simply letting someone know you’re thinking of them.

The Paradise Garden Stamp Set is the centerpiece of this project. The floral images in this set are beautifully designed for stamping, and they look lovely even with just a couple of ink colors. For this card, I stamped the flower image using Petal Pink for the petals and added a touch of Calypso Coral in the center to give the flowers a little extra warmth and depth. The leaves were stamped in Old Olive, which balances the soft pinks perfectly.

One of the things I love most about cardmaking is how a small piece of paper can carry so much meaning. When someone opens their mailbox and finds a handmade card inside, it feels different than any other mail they receive that day.

A simple card like this can brighten someone’s afternoon, remind them they’re appreciated, or let them know they’re not alone. Those little moments of connection matter more than we sometimes realize.

If you like this card, make sure you watch a recap of the live video, as well as the written tutorial, which has all of the measurements and step-by-step instructions. Sending handmade cards is one of the easiest ways to share kindness and stay connected with the people you care about.
