If you’ve been craving a card project that feels soft, elegant, and just plain pretty, you’re going to love this week’s Coffee and a Card with the Delicate Framing Bundle by Stampin’ Up!® It’s a fun fold that looks fancy but is surprisingly easy to make—perfect for sending heartfelt thanks or simply brightening someone’s day with a handmade touch.
This is the exact card we made during this week’s Coffee & a Card—our midweek craft break where we sip, chat, and create something wonderful together. And this one? It checks all the boxes: graceful design, delicate details, and colors that feel calm and uplifting. The Delicate Framing Dies add that touch of heirloom beauty, while the layered paper fold gives it a little “wow” moment when opened. It’s one of those cards that looks far more complicated than it actually is—my favorite kind!

Let’s Talk About Color
For this design, I reached for one of my go-to feminine color combinations: Basic Beige, Petal Pink, and Calypso Coral. These soft, peachy tones work beautifully together—Basic Beige keeps things grounded and neutral, Petal Pink brings in a whisper of warmth, and Calypso Coral adds just enough pop to keep it from feeling too subtle.
The Delicate Framing Dies really shine in this palette. Those intricate scrolls and floral details look amazing in Petal Pink cardstock, especially when paired with the floral Designer Paper. It feels vintage but still modern—like something you’d find in a cherished card box tucked away for safekeeping.
Why I Love Fun Folds
Fun folds are a quick way to turn a simple card into something extra special. You don’t need to spend hours crafting to make a card that feels fancy—just one clever score line can completely change the experience. This design opens in such a unique way that it naturally draws the eye to the sentiment in the center. And when you use coordinating paper, it feels cohesive and polished without a lot of effort.
I often tell my Coffee & a Card crafters that fun folds are confidence builders. Once you make one, you realize how simple it really is—and how many ways you can adapt it. Whether you add ribbon, embellishments, or keep it clean and classic like this one, you’ll always end up with something beautiful.

Design Details
To build the base, I started with Basic Beige cardstock, then layered on a soft floral pattern that complemented the warm coral tones. The framed sentiment—“So Very Thankful”—sits front and center, surrounded by die-cut flourishes in Petal Pink and accented with Calypso Coral gems for just a bit of sparkle.
Inside, I added a coordinating floral die in the corner, echoing the outside design. It’s a small touch that makes the whole card feel cohesive and finished. I love when the inside of a card feels just as thoughtful as the outside—it’s a small detail that shows extra care.
The Perfect Project for Gratitude Season
As we move through the season of thankfulness, this card is such a lovely reminder to pause and appreciate the people who make life brighter. It’s easy to mass-produce for friends, coworkers, or anyone you’d like to send a little “I appreciate you” note to. And with the Delicate Framing Bundle, you can swap out the sentiment and create everything from birthday to wedding cards—all with the same elegant look.
