Soft Gingham Floral Card with Gallery Blooms
This soft gingham floral card with Gallery Blooms, a stamp set by Stampin’ Up!® is the kind of handmade card that feels effortless and elegant all at once. This is the exact card we made during this week’s Coffee & a Card—our casual midweek craft break on Facebook where we chat, sip on our favorite beverage, and make something wonderful. And this card? It checks all the boxes: a beautiful floral image that’s fun to color, a soft neutral color palette that works for any season, and a layout that lets your Designer Paper do the talking.
The focal flower is from the Gallery Blooms Stamp Set and was colored using Stampin’ Blends in Petal Pink and Lost Lagoon. These colors pair beautifully with the muted tones of the Everyday Happiness Designer Series Paper, which gives that soft gingham background so much charm. I mounted everything on a layer of Lost Lagoon cardstock, then popped up the sentiment for a little dimension.
Speaking of sentiments, the clean and classic Thank You comes from the Simply Said Stamp Set. I love how the straight banner cut keeps the design crisp without distracting from the floral image. And of course, I couldn’t resist finishing it off with a few sparkly gems for just a hint of shine.
The overall color palette—Basic Beige, Lost Lagoon, and Petal Pink—is soft, warm, and surprisingly versatile. You could easily switch out the sentiment and send this as a birthday card, a sympathy card, or even a simple “just because.”
