Sweet Bee Card using the You Are Remarkable Stamp Set from Stampin' Up! in light blues and greens, featuring a "sometimes the simplest things mean the most" sentiment and ferns and bees.

The You Are Remarkable Stamp Set from Stampin’ Up! has quickly become one of my favorites because it’s so versatile. While it includes elegant floral images, it also offers heartfelt sentiments that pair beautifully with other images in the stamp set, like today’s cheerful bees. And, the tall, vertical style of the sentiments makes them perfect for a clean and professional look without any fuss.

For this card, I’ve also brought in the Everyday Arches Dies to add graceful curves and gentle layering. These dies create beautiful arches that highlight your sentiment or stamped images effortlessly. With various sizes to choose from, they’re perfect for adding subtle dimension without complicating your design. Pairing them with the You Are Remarkable Stamp Set creates a timeless, polished look you’ll love sharing.

This design also gives you lots of flexibility. The bee theme and soft colors work beautifully for birthdays, thank-you notes, thinking-of-you messages, or just because. Change the colors or stamps slightly, and you can create a totally different feel—perfect for endless creativity.

Let’s jump right into the fun of creating something sweet together!

How To Make This Card

Project Skill Level: Worker Bee

Worker Bee projects are designed for the crafter who has a bit more time and enjoys creating a handmade card that features a technique or tool. In many cases, a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine is required for die-cutting and/or embossing.

Cardstock Measurements:

  • Basic White Cardstock: 4″ x 5-1/4″
  • Basic White Cardstock: 4-1/4″ x 8-1/2″ (for die-cutting)

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Adhere the 4″ x 5-1/4″ Basic White cardstock to the inside of the card.
  2. Using the 4-1/4″ x 8-1/2″ piece of Basic White cardstock, run it through the Cut & Emboss Machine and using the Everyday Arches Dies, cut out the 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″ die and the 1-5/8″ x 2-7/8″ die.
  3. Line up the smaller die-cut piece onto the larger Basic White die-cut piece, about 3/4″ over from the left side. (See sample for placement.) Stamp the leaves at the bottom of the cardstock using Soft Sea Foam ink so that it covers the bottom of the smaller die-cut. Repeat as needed.
  4. Set aside the smaller piece and using a Blending Brush and the Pool Party ink pad, sponge ink onto the larger die-cut as shown in the sample. Stamp the bees 3 times onto the cardstock using Black Memento ink. If desired, color in the bee body using the Dark Daffodil Delight Blend and add Wink of Stella to the bee wings.
  5. Adhere the large stamped die-cut to the front of the card as shown in the sample.
  6. Using the same Blending Brush as in Step #5, sponge a bit of Pool Party ink onto the cardstock. Stamp the sentiment onto the top of the smaller die-cut cardstock using Black Memento ink.
  7. To finish, adhere the small die-cut to the card using adhesive or Stampin’ Dimensionals lining up the leaves that were stamped in Step #4.

A Tip from Barb

For Step #4, if you’re worried about stamping on both pieces together, use a strip of Washi Tape or non-stick tape at the top to hold the 2 pieces together while you stamp them. Works like a charm!
