Today, I’m thrilled to share a perfect solution for busy women who want to infuse a bit of creativity into their hectic schedules. I’ll show you how to whip up quick handmade cards that look anything but rushed.
Today, I’m thrilled to share a perfect solution for busy women who want to infuse a bit of creativity into their hectic schedules. This card uses Holiday Card Sketch 13, which is showcased in our Stampin’ Up! 2024 Holiday Mini-Catalog on page 16. (View our digital catalog here.)
To make this Thank You card even easier to create, I used the Whimsical Reindeer Designer Paper and pulled the colors for my card from the paper. This Color Combination is one from my Color Combination Library, which you can check out here.
How To Make This Card
Project Skill Level: Worker Bee
Worker Bee projects are designed for the crafter who has a bit more time and enjoys creating a handmade card that features a technique or tool. In many cases, a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine is required for die-cutting and/or embossing.
Cardstock Measurements:
- Crumb Cake Cardstock: 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″
- Basic White Cardstock: 4″ x 5-1/4″
- Reindeer Days Paper, Pattern #1: 4” x 4” (for die-cutting)
- Reindeer Days Paper, Pattern #2: 1-1/4” x 1-1/2”
- Reindeer Days Paper, Pattern #3: 1-1/4” x 1-1/4”
- Basic White Cardstock: 1” x 1-1/2”

Step-by-Step Instructions:
- Fold the Crumb Cake cardstock in half at the score line to create your card base.
- Adhere the 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock inside the card.
- Run the Reindeer Day Pattern #1 (4” x 4”) through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and die-cut using the 3-7/8” circle die from the Spotlight on Nature dies. Adhere to the card front, about 1/2” down from the top of the card.
- Adhere the other 2 pieces of Reindeer Days paper as shown in the sample.
- Using the Real Red ink pad, stamp the sentiment onto the 1” x 1-1/2” piece of Basic White cardstock. Adhere to the front of the card as shown in the sample to finish.
