Discover the joy of Step It Up Stamping! Today we’ll be making 3 cards using the Just Me and You Stamp Set by Stampin’ Up! This trio of projects is designed to cater to all skill levels and time commitments, from the quick and easy Busy Bee card, perfect for beginners or those with just a snippet of time, to the more detailed Worker Bee card, ideal for those who enjoy a bit more crafting leisure, right up to the Queen Bee card for those who love to lavish time and creativity on their papercraft.
Whether you’re crafting for a dear friend, a child, or someone who simply makes life brighter, this set captures the joy of connection in the sweetest way. With its charming line art of two friends surrounded by butterflies and flowers, it’s the kind of image that makes you smile before you even pick up your Stampin’ Blends.
For this Step It Up Stamping project, I started with a simple, beginner-friendly version — perfect for those days when you just want to stamp, color, and send. Then, I gradually added layers, texture, and details to create two more advanced designs. By the time you get to the final card, you’ll see how easy it is to go from “cute and quick” to “wow, you made that?!” without feeling overwhelmed.
Our color palette for these cards — Soft Sea Foam, Balmy Blue, and Peach Pie — sets such a fresh, spring-like tone. It’s a combination that’s soft and uplifting, ideal for friendship and thinking-of-you cards. Paired with the Beautiful Bokeh Designer Paper and the Beautiful Butterfly 3D Embossing Folder, it’s like sending a little garden through the mail. And let’s not forget the simple elegance of Very Vanilla cardstock and a bow of Vanilla Baker’s Twine for that final touch of charm.
What I love most about this project is that it shows the magic of Step It Up Stamping. You can start small and keep it simple, or take the same basic design and make it more elaborate by adding embossing, die cuts, or even just an extra layer of cardstock. Each card tells the same story — the joy of being with someone who just “gets” you — but with a different level of detail and texture.
So whether you’re a brand-new stamper looking for an easy win, a casual crafter wanting to stretch your skills, or an avid cardmaker ready to show off your stash of tools, these 3 designs have you covered. I’ll walk you through each step so you can create them exactly as shown — or put your own twist on the designs and make them uniquely yours.
