If these colors look familiar, it’s because we used this Rose Garden Thinlit on yesterday’s card. *Ü*
The Rose die-cut had been used in a mask on the previous card. Once we were done with it as a mask, we placed it on a piece of scratch paper and inked it liberally with a Versamark ink pad. We then embossed it with clear embossing powder, which created an enamel-like effect and really brightened up the colors.
The card base was a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ piece of Whisper White cardstock. The next layer was a 3-3/4″ x 5″ piece of Pink Pirouette, and finally a piece of 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″ Whisper White cardstock was embossed using the Elegant Dot Embossing Folder and adhered to the Pink Pirouette mat.
The tag (cut from the Rose Garden Thinlits) was stamped with Pink Pirouette for the outline, and then Watermelon Wonder for the sentiment. This was adhere to the card using Dimensionals.
Finally, glue dots were rolled and added to the back of the thinlit to adhere the Rose thinlit to the card.
