If you need a quick but elegant birthday card, look no further than the Picture Perfect stamp set by Stampin’ Up! Paired with the Happy Birthday, Everyone Host set, it makes a simple statement – but with a big”wow!” factor.
This 3-step stamp is so easy to use – and because it’s a Photopolymer stamp set, it makes lining up the multiple images very easy to do.
I started with a half sheet (5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″) of Elegant Eggplant cardstock and combined it with a 4″ x 5-1/4″ mat in Wisteria Wonder.
On the 3-3/4″ x 5″ piece of Whisper White, I stamped the sentiment in the center of the card, using Wisteria Wonder ink.
I stamped the Rose in 2 opposite corners, starting with the boldest stamp first in Wisteria Wonder (which is tapped off on my scratch sheet to just get a touch of ink.)
I then stamped over the bold image with the next image, stamping directly in Wisteria Wonder ink (no topping off.) And finally, I stamped the most detailed stamp in Elegant Eggplant. Easy peasy but with quite a result!
The leaves were done the same way, except I used Garden Green ink for the lightest color and used Mossy Meadow for the detailed overlay.
This card is so quick & easy, you could crank out quite a few of them in no time! (Now that’s my kind of stamping!) *Ü*
