Botanical Builder Framelit Dies

Botanical Builder Framelit Dies by Stampin' Up! | DIY Occasion Card | Barb Brimhall @ bzbstamper.com

The new Botanical Builder Framelit Dies are rapidly becoming one of my favorite new tools in the Stampin’ Up! Occasions Catalog.

They’re simple to use and just by changing the color of the cardstock you use, you can change the total mood of your card.

I wanted a more masculine card for this design, so I used Cajun Craze, Hello Honey, Black and Mossy Meadow (with a touch of Old Olive thrown in on the ferns.)

This card started as an “element” designed by teammate Vangie Yauch for our team Stamp Together, but by adding a bit of Gold Glimmer Paper and a hint of black, this card quickly morphed into a perfect all-occasion card.

The sentiment is from the Sunburst Sayings stamp set and it was stamped in Mossy Meadow ink to coordinate with the Mossy Meadow card base & vine mat.

It takes some time to cut out all these little pieces, but fortunately the Big Shot makes quick work of that for you – and you can run several Framelits through the Big Shot at the same time.

So if the gray skies of winter are making you feel blah, just pull out this card and enjoy the warmth of a sunny tropical day!   *Ü*
