I adore parties. And I especially adore Stampin’ Up! card parties. Why? Because they’re so much gosh darn FUN!
Just look at all those smiles! This is a scene from my Birthday Bash Card Class last night. And we had a blast.
We made 9 cards (3 each of 3 different designs) and had a fun ole’ birthday party while stamping. (Whose birthday were we celebrating? Everyone’s!)
I decided that this summer, I was going to use a theme for all of my classes, and I started out with this Birthday Bash theme because, honestly, don’t we all need birthday cards? (Note: want to see the cards we made? I’ll be posting each of them on my blog later this week- so be sure to come back soon.)
What’s a birthday without decorations & presents?
To make my Studio more festive, I added a fun banner — complete with balloons – at the end of the room. (My teeny Studio only sits 8 but that’s ok, we all get to know one another very well. *Ü*)
I wanted to give everyone a “surprise” present – so I made a cute little box with the Stampin’ Up! Gift Box Punch Board. It was soooo easy to whip up a bunch of these little boxes in a hurry. (Inside was a special stamp for everyone.)
And finally, I wanted to share one of my personal favorite stamping tools – so everyone who attended received a Fine-Tip Glue Pen (which we used on all 3 projects). To make the gift more festive, I wrapped it in cello and presented it in a Popcorn Box, using our new Popcorn Box Framelit. Again, fast & easy to make!
I had so much fun – and I hope everyone who attended had fun as well. I’m repeating the class tomorrow and Sunday and I just can’t wait to celebrate even more Birthdays. Let the festivities begin! Woot! Woot!
