Hey There, Crafter!

Do you want to add simple cardmaking to your list of crafting accomplishments?

If the answer to that question is yes, you’ve come to the right place because papercrafting and cardmaking mastery begins here at The BZBStamper. My name is Barb, and I’m the Busy Bee behind the BZBStamper.

I love to teach, and I’ve found that the best way to teach papercrafting is through clear instruction using simple, quick, and easy designs. I strive to create designs that are both accessible for beginners but challenging enough for intermediate cardmakers. So regardless of your background or crafting experience, you’ll learn useful skills and techniques here.

Where this all began

Before being introduced to papercrafting, I had never crafted at all. I didn’t feel I had the talent or creativity. But the first time I inked up that artistic rubberstamp, slammed it down on the paper (I’ve since learned to be gentle) and made something pretty, I was hooked.

Cardmaking, in particular, gave me the crafting experience I craved – it was easy, relaxing, and provided me with instant gratification. Since I can’t even draw stick figures, I particularly appreciated that the rubber stamp did all the “artistic” work for me – and it was FUN!

I started The BZBStamper in 1996, just a few months after being introduced to Stampin’ Up! Before I found Stampin’ Up!, I was frustrated that I couldn’t find any coordinating supplies and that I spent most of my time staring at a messy desk, unsure where to start. I was a busy mom and I needed quick & easy cardmaking inspiration!

Once I found Stampin’ Up!, the creation process got so much easier for me! So I decided to be the change I wanted to see in the cardmaking community and started teaching quick & easy cardmaking classes. The rest is history!
