So….what do you think of my new website? I’m so excited to share it with you!
I’ve been working for the last several months on this project – in my spare (cough, cough) free time. *Ü* It’s been a true labor of love and it’s going to allow me to combine all of the things I enjoy: stamping, Stampin’ Up! and website design. Here are the 3 things I love the most about the new design:
- The Colors! These are my colors! The remind me of the Oregon shore, a place where I can relax and be calm. I immediately began putting a “mood board” together and everything just finally fell together – I’ve struggled with my color scheme for years (as those of you who have been long-time subscribers know!)
- My New Logo! Oh my gosh – I finally was able to find a logo that would work with my “theme” — as well as my logo for my Stampin’ Up! team. I love, love, love it! The “Queen Bee” was just perfect for the mood I was trying to convey – elegant but a bit whimsical too! (Do you know where the “BZB” comes from? My maiden name is “Zick” and when I got married, I took my maiden name as my middle name – hence, Barbara Zick Brimhall!)
- The Versatility! Since I built this website myself, and have been gradually building my knowledge for years, everything just seemed to come together with this website revision. Not only will I be able to feature my Stampin’ Up! cards here, I plan to blog about Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator issues, how to build a crafty blog, and more. It will truly combine all of my loves. But best of all? It will be all categorized so if you could care less about direct sales or social media, you’ll be able to just check out my Stampin’ Up! posts. Wahoo!!
I’ll be back tomorrow with a Stampin’ Up! post (and it’s a very cute card!) but I just had to share my happy news with you!
I still have a lot of tinkering left to do on the website, but the “shell” is done. I’d *love it* if you’d leave me a comment below and let me know what you think!
Hugs,
Barb
Such a delightful welcome to your BZB blog! From colors to Logo – at last a Queen Bee worth its mettle! Kudos!
Thank you, Ann, for the sweet comment! I know the colors aren’t everyone’s favorite but they sure is mine!
They really are your colors, Barb! It’s a gift to discover your colors!
That’s a *great* way to put it, Ann! It truly was a gift! I’ve tried so many other colors over the years, but these just spoke to me – they make me HAPPY! *Ü*
Congratulations! This looks wonderful and I’m all over the rose quartz color by Pantone! So anxious to see all your other new.
Thank you Linda! Isn’t that Rose Quartz color luscious!?!? I’m crossing my fingers we get a similar color with our new In-Colors coming out in June!
Looks amazing! I’m so jealous of all your “mad” skills!
Awww Teri, thank you! I don’t think I have any special “mad” skills, but I have to admit I was getting “mad” at about 2am last night when I couldn’t figure something out! Still lots left to do but for the first time in a long time, I’m loving the look of my website! Yay!
It’s BEAUTIFUL!! You are a true inspiration. I’m learning so much from you – THANK YOU for everything you do for all of us. 🙂
Thank you so much Tina – your comments mean the world to me! Thank you!!! *Ü*
